"LOT" Transportation Company was established in 1993 and was the first private company in Nikolayev region, which has received the license for the right of rendering the transport-forwarding services.
"LOT" is an associate member of FIATA, a valid member of Association of International Freight Forwarders of Ukraine (AIFFU) and Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce. "LOT" Transportation Company makes business not only according to Ukrainian laws regulating transport forwarding, but also in accordance with international rules and practice of forwarding.

Nikolayev Commercial Sea Port, located in the mouth of the Southern Bug river, in the northern part of the Dnieper-Bug Liman (Estuary), is an important transport junction in the South of Ukraine, with good prospects for development. It is linked with the Black Sea by the approach channel, which is 44 miles long.
Nikolayev Commercial Sea Port possesses covered warehouses, open storage areas and carrier out operations with general and bulk cargoes, which could contain grain, ore, steel products, tubes, etc. The leading exports are: chemical fertilisers, steel productions, tubes, cotton. The prevailing imports are fruits, store and consumer goods. There are 14 piers in the port. All of them have railroad connections. The port has 12 berths equipped with shore cranes having a lifting capacity of up to 40 tons.

Nikolayev Port Silo is situated on the territory of Nikolaev Commercial Sea Port and carries out reception, storage and shipment of grain cargoes.
Specialized sea port "Oktyabrsk" is located in the northern part of Dniepro-Bugsky Estuary at a distance of about 16 miles from the Black Sea. It is considered to be one of the most up-to-date ports in Ukraine.
Specialized sea port "Oktyabrsk" is equipped with modern gantry cranes of 40 tons capacity, fork-lift trucks from 1,5 tons to 25 tons, roll-trailers and motor prime movers for the total transportation of cargo. It is specialized in general cargo, cargo in boxes, pallets, and containers, including trans-shipment of steel products, cardboard, wheel vehicle and woods.
Specialized Sea Port "Oktyabrsk" possess specialized covered warehouses and areas for open storage of cargoes.It disposes of 7 deep-water moorages with an overall length of 1,9 km. Navigation is permitted all the year, but in winter time- only for vessels having Ice Class Certificate.

On the left bank of the Southern Bug Estuary, at a distance of about 14 miles from Nikolaev, the Dniepro-Bugsky Sea Port is situated. It was founded in 1978 by Alumina Plant and specialized on unloading bauxite handling operations with all general and bulk cargoes, except cargoes to be stored in covered warehouses.
The port has also a so-called "small fleet" at its disposal, consisting of 12 vessels for auxiliary operation: pilotage, mooring ship and other services.
Port accepts vessels with draft less than 4.5 m.
The Nikolaev River Port is located nearby the Nikolayev Commercial Sea Port. It has 7 berths involved in shipment of general and bulk cargoes, except cargoes to be stored in covered warehouses. The berths are equipped with modern trans-shipment facilities: 13 efficient gantry cranes (from 5 tons to 40 tons capacity), auto and electric forklift trucks (from 1,5 tons to 25 tons capacity), 7 floating diesel-electrical cranes with the load capacity from 5 tons to 16 tons, stationary equipment for loading of sand and granular cargoes.
The Nikolaev River Port is open for navigation all the year, but in severe winters icebreakers are required.
Port accepts vessels with a draft less than 4.5 m.
